Sixth grade students in Mr. Monaghan's Social Studies classes experienced colonial taxation through a hands-on simulation! 💸 Playing the King, Parliament, tax collectors, and colonists, students explored unfair taxes and discussed fairness and representation. 👑📜

Mrs. LaTorre visited Mrs. Levitt and Mrs. Rodriguez's Social Studies classes. Mrs. LaTorre took on the role of King George and dramatically read a letter to the students. The students thoroughly enjoyed her performance and the engaging way that she brought colonial history to life.
