Next week, we will be collecting Chromebooks and chargers from Linwood students for the summer.
Chromebooks, chargers, and cases will be collected during homeroom beginning Monday, June 9th, and no later than the last day of school (6/20).
-Students attending ESY will keep their Chromebooks over the summer
-Summer Academy/Institute students will have Chromebook carts available to them
Students will receive their Chromebooks for the 2025-2026 school year during the first few weeks of school.
If the Chromebook is not clearly labeled with the student’s name and ID number, please write the student's ID number on a Post-it note and stick it inside the Chromebook.
Please ensure that you send chargers and cases to school every day, starting June 9th, until they are collected with your Chromebook.
Failure to return Chromebooks and accessories or extensive damage can result in fines. Any unpaid fines can lead to a delay in receiving grades.

Ms. Fennik had special guests from her family visit her class to discuss possible future careers with the students. Andrew is a product development engineer at Stryker who designs, tests, and evaluates new knee products. He shared the students' 3D-printed knee replacements and explained how they are used. Ally, an operations coordinator at Paramount, helps manage production data, tracks resources for different video production shoots, and handles administrative tasks for the department. She shared behind-the-scenes photos from various shoots and other experiences. The students asked many engaging questions and enjoyed their visit!

Before Memorial Day, Mrs. Tracey's classes were honored with a visit from Mrs. Mary Ellen Allocca. A substitute Teacher here in the District. She generously shared her late husband‘s army jacket from the Vietnam War and his veteran's hat. Sadly, he passed away due to injuries sustained from his time in the war.
Mrs. Allocca explained the various patches on the jacket and the dangers of war. Students asked thoughtful questions. It was a truly authentic way for the students and staff to understand the sacrifice, bravery, and service afforded by our soldiers.
We thank him for his service and sacrifice, as well as all of our other veterans, not just on Memorial Day, but every day.
