Lady Raiders Wrestling Team

The North Brunswick Raiders Wrestling program is finally seeing a dominant female presence on the team this year; not only has the team welcomed a new female volunteer coach (Coach Fleming), but ten strong and determined young woman. Going into this year’s season Coach Fleming intends to help the girls increase not only their physical strength, but their mental strength and confidence as well. One of the largest obstacles the ladies will have to overcome is disregarding any negative opinions or thoughts that they may face, as what they do this year can inspire the next generation of young female wrestlers. Due to many of the ladies being new to the sport and not yet having any experience, Coach Fleming feels it is important to emphasize that every wrestler, despite gender, was new to the sport at some point, and regardless of the score of a match, every wrestler should walk away with their head held high because they will have either won or will learn from their experience.
